How We Started
From a lost sock to a bold idea.
It was a regular morning in Stockholm.
I was in bed, running late, and looking for something to wear.
All I could find was one single sock.
That moment, random as it was, sparked a realisation:
Why is it so hard to find socks that are both stylish and sustainable?
I’ve always loved socks. They’re the first thing you put on, the last thing you take off. But most of what I found on the market felt the same: overdesigned or underwhelming, fast fashion or overpriced basics, and always missing that something deeper.
So I decided to create my own.
Kind Socks began as both a personal rebellion and a creative outlet. I launched our first collection through Kickstarter, each design created to carry meaning, not just style. These weren’t socks for everyone. They were socks for someone someone who wanted to move through the world with quiet confidence.
Since day one, every pair we’ve made has been rooted in intention:
🧶 A message behind the pattern
🔥 A flame stitched into the heel
👣 A sense that softness, when chosen, is strength
We didn’t start with a big team or a splashy campaign.
We started with a single sock — and a belief that kindness, when worn boldly, could change things.
Kind Socks was never about being loud. It’s about being real.
It’s about story, soul, and rebellion in the softest form.
